The HÖRSTAD Underfloor Heating Mixing Pump Set is designed to deliver consistent circulation and accurate temperature control within wet UFH systems. By blending flow and return water to the correct operating temperature, it ensures safe and efficient heat delivery to the manifold and floor circuits.
Efficient circulation systems rely on the absence of air within the pipework. Air in the system can lead to uneven heat distribution, increased noise, and premature pump wear. To address this, the HÖRSTAD mixing pump includes a built-in venting routine mode.
During venting mode, the pump operates intermittently for approximately 10 minutes, forcing trapped air to rise to the highest point in the system. The installer can then vent the system, check system pressure, and top up if necessary. This process helps protect the pump, improve overall efficiency, and maintain quiet operation.
