Border edge insulation designed for use in underfloor heating systems, laid within a screed. The border edge insulation is run around the perimeter wall of each room to be heated, held in place with HÖRSTAD tape prior to screeding.
Border edge with overlap is designed for use with flowing screeds, to ensure that the screed doesn’t flow behind the border edge insulation and down the edge of the wall.
Allows for some expansion and contraction of the flow screed as it warms and cools. Isolates screed slab from outside wall and thereby reduces any thermal bridging.
