HÖRSTAD Cement Coated Overlay Boards are routed underfloor heating panels manufactured from high-density XPS insulation, providing excellent thermal performance while remaining lightweight and fully waterproof. Each board is finished with a reinforced cement coating, creating a strong, stable surface suitable for direct floor finishes.
The pre-routed grooves ensure consistent pipe placement and efficient heat distribution throughout the floor area.
The boards must be installed onto a flat, level subfloor, whether concrete or timber-based. On concrete substrates, they should be laid over a combed layer of flexible tiling adhesive. For timber floors, the panels are secured using screws and washers. Tiles and wood flooring can be installed directly over the system, while softer finishes such as carpet or vinyl require an additional 9mm board layer prior to the final floor covering.
