The HĂ–RSTAD Routed chipboard underfloor heating panels is a moisture-resistant, routed floor panel solution designed for use with 12mm underfloor heating pipe. Available in standard or foiled options, the highly conductive board ensures efficient and even heat distribution across the floor surface.
Each board measures 2400mm x 600mm x 22mm and is precision-grooved on one face to accommodate 12mm pipework, complete with pre-formed radius returns for consistent pipe spacing and simplified installation. The system is typically installed directly onto floor joists—usually with insulation fitted between—using standard chipboard screws and joint adhesive.
An overlay board or suitable plywood must be applied prior to final floor finishes to provide a stable substrate. By installing directly onto floor joists, the system enables a lower overall floor build-up, making it ideal for first-floor and above applications in both new build and retrofit projects.
