The HÖRSTAD Reinforcing Mesh Clip is designed for use in structural slab underfloor heating systems, where heating pipework is integrated directly into a concrete floor build-up. This method is commonly specified when UFH is required within a structural floor construction.
In this system, high-density flooring insulation panels are installed across the full floor area, followed by a reinforcing mesh layer. The underfloor heating pipework is then securely clipped to the mesh using reinforcing mesh clips, ensuring accurate pipe positioning and stable retention prior to screed or concrete application.
To minimise the risk of damage, it is recommended that the screed or concrete pour is scheduled shortly after pipe installation. When using liquid screed, the insulation layer must be properly sealed to create a watertight base before pouring.
Reliable and easy to use, HÖRSTAD Reinforcing Mesh Clips provide a secure fixing solution for structural slab underfloor heating installations.
