This decoupling membrane heating cable system is designed for fast installation, long-term reliability, and superior floor protection. Featuring advanced TwistedTwin cable construction and in-line joint technology, it removes the need for bulky hot/cold joints and eliminates the risk of damaging the cable by cutting into the membrane or substrate during installation.
When installed within a suitable membrane system, the decoupling layer helps neutralise lateral floor movement, reducing the risk of cracking and tile delamination. When paired with appropriate waterproofing products, it can also contribute to creating a waterproof layer within the floor build-up.
Available in 130W/m² or 195W/m² outputs, the system operates at 230V and is suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications. The membrane is 5.5mm thick and manufactured from durable polyethylene, while the heating cable features FEP and HR-PVC insulation for enhanced protection. With IP68 protection, an extra heavy use Robinson test rating, cable lengths ranging from 12m to 200m, and a recommended maximum operating temperature of 27°C (limited by controls), this system delivers dependable performance backed by a lifetime warranty.
